The Fox Hills Property Management Association is responsible for the management of the Fox Hills neighborhood located approximately six miles west of Canton GA. The neighborhood consists of 88 single family home units and membership is mandatory for all property owners. The annual dues are $145.00 due at the beginning of each calendar year and should be mailed to P.O. Box 5744, Canton, GA, 30114. The address of the home owner must appear on the check to properly identify which property the dues are being submitted for. We are exploring the possibility of paying dues electronically via this website, but we have not found an economical solution as of yet.
The association is totally managed by volunteers who are elected by association members during the association's annual meeting. A list of the members is located on the
Board Members page. Using volunteers help us keep dues as some of the lowest in Georgia.
The neighborhood was built in 2002 - 2003 and consists of single family units of approximately 2,000 to over 4,000 square feet. Homes have two and three car attached garages and are sited on lots sized from less than one acre to over four acres. Beside the large lots, the neighborhood has many undeveloped green belts that give home owners the feeling of living in the quite countryside. Most homes are economically priced from the low $300,000s to almost $400,000. Wild life such as white tailed deer, wild turkeys, owls, hawks, rabbits, and, yes, even foxes are seen frequently in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is located approximately a mile (see map) from Lake Allatoona where camping, picnicking, boating, swimming, and hiking are allowed. We are located far from busy highways and expressways. Residing here is "economical country" living at its best.
The neighborhood is served solely by Amicalola Electric Membership Corporation. Water is provided by Cherokee County Water. No sewer service is available and owners must provide and maintain their own under ground septic systems. There is also no natural gas provider and owners either have homes heated by electric heat pump or by supplementing heat with their own underground propane tanks. High speed internet service is available from several providers as well as cable and satellite TV. Several trash and waste companies service the neighborhood. More information can be found on the
Utility page.
